Vincent Lefevre <vincent at vinc17.org> writes:

  Hi,

  When configuring GMP 4.2.1 with

    --enable-assert --enable-alloca=debug

on a power5-unknown-linux-gnu machine, I get the following failures:

  /usr/bin/make check-TESTS
  make[4]: Entering directory `/home/vlefevre/software/gmp-4.2.1/tests/mpf'
/home/vlefevre/software/gmp-4.2.1/tests/mpf/.libs/lt-t-add: symbol lookup error: /home/vlefevre/software/gmp-4.2.1/tests/mpf/.libs/lt-t-add: undefined symbol: __gmp_tmp_debug_mark
  FAIL: t-add
/home/vlefevre/software/gmp-4.2.1/tests/mpf/.libs/lt-t-sub: symbol lookup error: /home/vlefevre/software/gmp-4.2.1/tests/mpf/.libs/lt-t-sub: undefined symbol: __gmp_tmp_debug_mark
  FAIL: t-sub

I actually tried to reproduce this, in spite of that the bug report is
quite incomplete. Unsurprisingly, my attempts failed.
